Horse Gulch Trailhead: Latitude:  37.2647, Longitude:  -107.8722 Elevation:  6,629 feet From Main Avenue in Durango turn East onto College Drive follow this for about 0.5 miles.  Make a right turn onto East 8th Avenue and follow for only about 0.2 miles.  Turn left (East) onto 3rd Street the end of this road is the trailhead parking area for the Horse Gulch Trailhead.  The parking area is dirt here, remember to be courteous and not to block any of the local businesses, thank you!
Carbon Junction Trailhead: Latitude:  37.2357, Longitude:  -107.8667 Elevation:  6,530 feet From Main Avenue in Durango turn East onto College Drive, follow it for about 0.5 miles.  Turn right onto East 8th Avenue, this becomes Colorado Highway 3, known by the locals as “the old highway” because it was the original road into Durango from the South.  Follow this road for roughly 2.4 miles.  Make a left turn into the Carbon Junction Trailhead parking area, right before this road connects to Camino Del Rio (Highway 160 & 550). 
Big Canyon Trailhead: Latitude:  37.2307, Longitude:  -107.8615 Elevation:  6,554 feet Take Camino Del Rio South out of Durango (Highway 160 & 550).  Follow it South past College Drive for about 3.3 miles.  Turn left onto Domingues Drive and then, follow for less than 0.1 miles before making a left turn onto Carbon Junction Road.  Make a right turn into the Big Canyon parking area shortly after turning onto Carbon Junction Road.
Sale Barn Trailhead: Latitude:  37.2238, Longitude:  -107.8564 Elevation:  6,544 feet Take Camino Del Rio South out of Durango (Highway 160 & 550).  Follow it South past College Drive for about 3.8 miles and then make a left turn directly to the Sale Barn parking area.  The parking area is large and unpaved, but not easily seen from the highway. If you reach Farmington Hill, where Highway 550 splits off to the South, then you have gone a little too far.
